I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. As soon as I was able to pick up a pencil I was drawing or coloring something. My passion for art was evident at a very early age. I attended a high school for visual and performing arts where I fell in love with photography and painting. Shortly after high school I became a mother to two boys - my favorite people in the world. At that time my career path was on “pause”, but in 2004, I visited a good friend in Miami and couldn’t get the idea of living near the ocean out of my head. Six months later, armed with what I could fit in my Honda Civic and $400 to my name, the boys and I were Miami bound. I’ve worked with Ethnicity Models since my move as well

About the Work
My goal as a photographer is to capture the essence and spirit of the person, situation and or product I’m shooting. When I cover an event I want you to feel like you were there when you look at the pictures. When I shoot people, I want you to understand what they are feeling in the picture. When I shoot products I want you to want the product. Most of all I just want to have fun taking pictures.
